Horrible place, dishonest about work needed. I was told scanner port did not work and diagnostic would have to be manual (extra time). We were later told the scanner detected several codes. The lady working the front desk was incredibly rude when asked how that was possible if the scanning port did not work. We payed over $400 just for them to read the codes on the scanner and decided to take our truck elsewhere
Hello Omar. I apologize for the experience you had. I am hoping to clear up a few things as I feel there has been a huge misunderstanding. The technician that spoke with you on the phone regarding additional time had attempted to explain that the power going to the scanner port was missing which is why the scanner could not connect. The additional time that was approved by you was to diagnose the issue, which we did and repaired. That is how we were able to finally connect and pull all the codes. As for the diagnostic charge to pull just the codes, I ask that you kindly review the invoice that was given to you when the vehicle was picked up and to please take a look at the digital inspections that were sent via text. I do see they were sent but shows on my end that they have not been viewed by you at this time. Both will have very detailed write ups of all the codes that were pulled, what we did to diagnose each one, and what the recommended repair is for each. There are pictures included in those inspections as well. Those will show the amount of work and time that was spent performing the multiple diagnosis's for all the codes that were in the system. We were able to repair two of the codes during the time we spent which is a bonus and was included in the detailed write up as well. I hope this helps to clear up your issues and if you need us to resend any of the information please let us know. Feel free to give us a call or come by the shop if you’d like to speak about this further.
