Wow! I had a stellar experience with Colby at AJ's. Our Mazda had a mysterious issue with the parking brake not turning off that mechanics had never seen before. Even the Mazda dealership had no idea what was exactly wrong with the car but wanted to charge four figures to attempt to fix it. We were frustrated because the issue came out of nowhere and our car had never had any issue like this. Colby went above and beyond to research what was wrong and actually come up with a clear explanation for the error. You can tell he knows a lot about the mechanics of cars and is very experienced. He kept us updated day by day on what methods he was trying and got our car back up and running! And the price was about 1/10th of what the dealership was trying to charge us! Very happy and will be coming back for future service.

Brought my car in and they found my brake was traveling too far down and diagnosed the issue. Turned out it was something different than initially thought to be. The shop reached out to let me know that a new OEM part was around $4,500 but they spent the next two days searching for a used one that ended up costing around $650 with labor and they did not charge me for the initial incorrect diagnosis. Super honest work, they gave me a detailed explanation of everything done and kept me in the loop about all repairs. One of the best experiences I have had with an auto mechanic in Napa.

AJ's has serviced my vehicles for many years. They are honest and thorough in their work. I tow a 10,000 pound horse trailer with up to 3 horses at times and so I like knowing that my towing vehicle has been thoroughly serviced. If I can't describe the problem well enough, they have taken my truck out for a test drive to see what is going on. They always have time to service my passenger car as well. Highly recommended.
